- Very small area at the corner of a hired out service garage, near a small-scaled town centre.
Town authorities requested a diagonal solution.
- The principal requested two pump islands (four tank places) under an enlarged and lifted canopy. The old canopy consisted
of a small cantilevered garage roof, too small and too low.
- The solution is a slanted canopy, higher than the garage roof, and lifted up to the street corner.
As a reaction on a low curved wall at the street corner, the canopy front is also curved.
- The canopy front edge is under 45 degrees, containing a neon tube at half height, giving blue light (company color).
The canopy looks slimmer than it really is because of this detail. Like the slim detailed garage roof.
